Mandated by one of our recognized clients and a reference actor in Suisse Romande, we are looking for a Heavy Goods Vehicle Driver (m/f) for a permanent engagement starting early 2027.

Your missions and responsibilities

Ensure the transport, delivery, and secure unloading of treated metal structures and industrial profiles (steel and aluminum) to customers and construction sites in the region, using an articulated vehicle.

• Drive the articulated vehicle in a safe, economical manner and in compliance with the highway code
• Perform complex reversing and docking maneuvers on construction sites and cramped delivery areas
• Ensure the secure lashing of parts and the protection of transported elements to avoid any friction, scratches, or damage during journeys
• Actively participate in and supervise the loading and unloading of goods
• Ensure basic technical monitoring of the truck (levels, pressures, cab cleanliness) and report any anomaly
• Keep transport documents and route sheets up to date and respect legislation (driving and rest hours)

Your profile

You have confirmed experience in heavy goods vehicle driving in industrial environments, metal construction, timber framing, or other special structures in construction and are comfortable in customer relations

Here are the mandatory prerequisites

• Valid category CE driving license.
• Up-to-date digital driver card and OACP capacity certificate.
• Confirmed experience of several years in driving and maneuvering trailers in Switzerland.
• Perfect mastery of the French language (oral and written) for direct contact with customers.
• Flexibility, good physical condition, autonomy, and a keen sense of responsibility.
