Certification and Authorization Engineer 100 %

We are looking for a Certification and Authorization Engineer to support rolling stock projects in their homologation and authorization to place on the market processes. The role consists of guaranteeing regulatory compliance, coordinating activities with safety authorities, and managing the entire certification cycle in connection with the engineering teams.

This position is aimed at an engineer with concrete experience in railway homologation, capable of managing complex requirements, structuring technical documentation, and ensuring the interface with assessment bodies (NoBo, DeBo, ISA) and national authorities.

Key responsibilities:

Interpretation and application of TSI, EN standards, and national regulations.
Development and monitoring of certification and verification plans.
Management of technical deliverables, compliance matrices, and transmissions to NoBo/ISA.
Preparation of authorization files and interface with NSAs for APS.
Contribution to risk analyses, hazard studies, and the SMS.
Collaboration with design, integration, and maintenance teams.
Facilitation of meetings, structured reporting, and presentation to clients/authorities.

Profile sought:

Engineering degree in mechanical, railway engineering, or equivalent.
Proven experience in railway certification / homologation.
Mastery of frameworks: TSI, EN, NoBo/ISA/NSA, APS, SMS.
Skills in technical documentation, compliance, risk analysis.
Knowledge of tools: CATIA, SolidWorks, MATLAB, ANSYS, PLM (Teamcenter, SAP).
Qualities: communication, rigor, autonomy, ability to defend technical positions.
Languages: fluent French and English; German is appreciated. Any other language is welcome.
