Payerne and Meiringen (and home office) | 80-100% (job sharing possible) This is your contribution * Be responsible for the availability, stability, and security of the ICT systems that enable the operations of the F-35A * Analyze complex malfunctions down to the cause, resolve them within the framework of incident and problem management, and derive sustainable preventive measures * Implement security specifications in operations such as system hardening, vulnerability and patch management, and participate in security audits and releases * Automate and further develop system operation configuration management, deployment and patch processes, as well as monitoring * Lead the technical coordination with manufacturers, suppliers, international program partners, and the Air Force teams * Evaluate technical developments and change requests regarding their impact on operation, security, and standard compliance, and develop and introduce corresponding solutions What makes you unique * Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent training, with several years of experience in operating complex ICT environments with high security requirements * Sound experience in the administration of Windows server and application environments, including Active Directory, patch and release management, as well as troubleshooting down to the application level * Very good knowledge of virtualization and disaster recovery (Hyper-V, VMware) as well as backup and restore concepts for physical and virtual systems * In-depth knowledge of network administration and databases as well as in the practical implementation of security specifications: firewalls, system hardening, vulnerability remediation * Experience in the automation of operational tasks (e.g., PowerShell, configuration management) as well as in the analysis and further development of technical processes * Independent, analytical way of working as well as active knowledge of a second official language and good knowledge of technical English In a nutshell In the F-35A program, you support the ICT systems that make the use of the fighter jet possible in the first place. A task for which there are only a few specialists in Switzerland.
