For one of our residences welcoming aging persons in situations of intellectual disability, within our housing sector, we are looking for-

an educator specialized or an educator specialized

Your mission

• Promote the fulfillment of the resident persons and the development of their skills by means of individualized educational action.
• Coordinate socio-educational projects for the resident persons and ensure their follow-up as well as implement individualized objectives according to the principle of reference.
• Accompany the resident persons in daily life tasks.
• Participate actively in the proper functioning of the residence and in the general care of the resident persons.
• Ensure routine administrative tasks related to the function.
• Participate in educational projects related to the sector.

Your profile

• HETS specialized educator diploma or title deemed equivalent with recognition from SEFRI.
• Several years of experience in the field of disability and knowledge of the CRPD.
• Knowledge of the issue of intellectual disability associated with autism spectrum disorder and psychiatric disorders. Good knowledge of the Geneva medico-social network.
• Good capacities for adaptation, autonomy and organization.
• Competence for administrative tasks, writing skills and good mastery of computer and office tools.
• Willing or disposed to work irregular hours and on weekends.
• Swiss nationality or with a valid work permit.

Type of contract: indefinite duration contract

Activity rate at 80%
