Profile

• You have a background in IT.
• You are comfortable with software development, maintenance of existing applications, and systems administration.
• Autonomous and rigorous, you know how to diagnose a problem, manage priorities, and lead its resolution while taking into account business constraints and service continuity. You enjoy contact with users and sharing knowledge.

Essential Skills

• PHP and Laravel; JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Maintenance of existing Java code, notably Swing applications.
• SQL and relational databases: queries, diagnosis, consistency checks, and migrations.
• Good knowledge of VMware ESXi: hosts, virtual machines, resources, storage, virtual networks, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Backup management with Veeam: configuration of tasks, monitoring, error handling, retention, and restoration of systems and data.
• Windows environments, network shares, and automation with PowerShell.
• Git, non-regression testing, and deployment procedures.
• Analysis of complex business rules and clarification of needs with users.
• Writing documentation and communicating with technical and non-technical interlocutors.
• Working in French and exchanges in English with international partners

Appreciated Skills

• WordPress and takeover of old applications.
• Active Directory and management of accounts, groups, and permissions.
• Electronic document management, notably Mayan EDMS.
• Python, SFTP transfers, and automation of data controls.
• Generation and layout of PDFs via PHP/Python.
• Laboratory activities and external quality assessments; understanding of statistical processing and verification with scientific experts.

Main Missions

• Maintain and develop business applications and web platforms for survey participation and results entry.
• Analyze the needs of users and scientific experts and translate them into suitable functionalities.
• Maintain legacy Java applications and ensure their integration with web platforms.
• Manage databases, migrations, and exchanges between applications, guaranteeing data consistency and integrity.
• Develop processes for the generation of reports, certificates, and PDF documents.
• Diagnose incidents, correct anomalies, perform tests, and ensure production releases.
• Automate recurring tasks, file processing, and data transfers.
• Administer and maintain VMware ESXi hosts and virtual machines.
• Manage Veeam backups, monitor their execution, and regularly test restorations.
• Evolve electronic document management: versions, validation workflows, access rights, and traceability.
• Document applications and infrastructure and support users.
