CSP Vaud is a private non-profit social action institution. Its services are professional and offered free of charge to any person living in the canton of Vaud, without distinction of any kind. It provides more than fifteen thousand consultations per year, organizes walk-in sessions and collective information sessions, and collaborates with numerous partners for the orientation and support of people in difficulty. It is requested for the training of other professionals in the social network, both public and private. With the participation of about a hundred volunteers, CSP Vaud also manages a Service consisting of six Galetas.

In a context of transition and multiplication of data management tools, and in order to strengthen its governance and security, CSP Vaud is looking for a

Data Analyst (Analyste de données) at 80%

Within a small IT team, reporting to the IT Manager, for its Support Service

Support activities group transversal functions endowed with the necessary skills and resources in institutional organization, politics and social action, finance, IT, secretarial work, housekeeping, communication, fundraising and human resources.

Main missions

• Participate in structuring, automating, analyzing and adding value to the data of the user database for the purposes of statistics, steering, reporting and activity reports.
• Analyze business needs and identify the data necessary for all other services that use internal or external data management tools.
• Structure, ensure reliability and document the various data sources.
• Identify and test solutions.
• Provide the necessary technical support for the continuity of the statistical monitoring of social services.
• Participate in data governance, quality and security.
• Contribute to the evaluation of the uses of artificial intelligence, notably from the perspective of data protection and security.
• Participate in certain IT projects related to data and occasionally take charge of simple technical tasks related to applications or the IT environment.

Your profile

• Recently graduated, with a first practical experience in the implementation of a data management project.
• Higher education in IT at Bachelor level (in Management Informatics, Data Science, Business Analytics or equivalent field).
• Understanding of business processes and ability to communicate adequately with non-technical interlocutors, adapting to their usage.
• Strong sensitivity to data protection, security and information governance.
• Willingness to acquire new skills and to train in the tools and methods necessary for the position.
• Versatile profile, curious and with a good IT culture.
• Autonomy, analytical spirit, sense of organization.
• Social drive with the desire to work in an associative environment.

Main place of work: Rue Beau-Séjour 28, 1003 Lausanne.

Contract type: Fixed-term contract of 2 years

Start date: From 1 January 2027, to be agreed.
