Hôpital du Jura

The gynecology department of the Hôpital du Jura carries out hospital and outpatient activities primarily at the Delémont site (+ over 3'300 consultations per year / 450 births / 750 hospitalizations / 500 gynecological operations). The department offers a wide range of general and specialized consultations (senology, urinary incontinence, colposcopy, adolescent consultation, sterility and menopause) as well as emergency management.

In order to strengthen the current team, we are looking for someone to start on January 1st, 2027, or by agreement, a:

Chief Resident in Gynecology (with or without a specialty title in Gynecology)

Responsibilities

• You ensure the global care of patients and interact with specialists in the sector.
• You supervise and train assistant doctors (interns) responsible for patient care and proactively organize their work as well as the daily functioning of the department.
• You participate in the pre- and postgraduate training of the department, as well as in continuous improvement activities of the working environment.

Qualifications

• You hold a Swiss Federal Diploma of Medicine or a title recognized by the Federal Commission for Medical Professions (MEBEKO)
• Ideally, you benefit from a specialization in gynecology / FMH title or equivalence for training acquired abroad; or are about to acquire it.
• You possess excellent clinical knowledge in gynecology and obstetrics.
• Knowledge of French (B2/C1 level), other foreign language welcome.
• Autonomy, rigor, and excellent interpersonal skills are expected.
