L-EFAJE is a network that brings together 31 communes from the district of Gros-de-Vaud and surroundings wishing to unite their efforts to manage and develop quality daycare services in order to better meet the needs of their citizens. To date, three sectors are represented there: family daycare, which brings together about sixty caregivers in a family setting, nine preschool structures, and nineteen after-school structures. We are looking for, for an indefinite period, a:

Early Childhood Educator or Socio-Educational Assistant at 79% ##

The workplace is located at the Garderie Arc-en-ciel in Cugy, a structure with a capacity of 44 places.
The position is to be filled within the nursery group and the working time is distributed over 4 days/week.

Your missions: ###

• Ensure quality support for the children welcomed, guaranteeing their well-being and safety in compliance with the institutional project and within the framework of current regulations.
• Identify quality-related issues based on your theoretical knowledge. Propose courses of action and implement them in the interest of the child.
• Promote a quality link and exchanges with families and external services.

Your profile: ###

You have experience in the field of early childhood and demonstrate benevolence, empathy, and listening towards children.
Dynamic, flexible, and endowed with a good team spirit, you communicate with ease and diplomacy.
Of a calm and proactive nature, you know how to adapt to situations, take a step back from your practices, and contribute actively to the quality of reception and the smooth running of the team.
Holder of a tertiary ES/HES diploma or equivalent or a secondary diploma (CFC), you possess Swiss nationality or a valid residence permit, as well as a clean criminal record.
