An industrial cutting assembler / setter 100% (M/F)

Your role
At the heart of our production tool, you ensure the preparation, assembly and adjustment of cutting tools and contribute directly to the quality, cadence and performance of our productions.

Your responsibilities
Prepare, assemble and adjust cold cutting tools on our mechanical and hydraulic presses
Ensure production launches, and support operators in mastering instructions and best practices
Drive and adjust the cutting process parameters in order to guarantee the quality and performance of productions
Master the adjustments, the management of tooling wear as well as lubrication
Control the quality of the cut parts, identify defects (tearing, cracks or appearance defects) and adapt production parameters accordingly
Optimize campaign changes by applying SMED principles
Diagnose problems related to tooling and the process, and ensure their first-level maintenance
Ensure the restoration and reinstatement of the production station at the end of a series
Manage consumables and wear parts autonomously
Ensure self-control, and carry out production and quality monitoring records
Collaborate closely with other departments to guarantee the fluidity and performance of operations

Your profile
Training in tooling mechanics
Proven experience in setting and industrial cutting, ideally on non-ferrous materials
Excellent mastery of the assembly and adjustment of cutting tools on mechanical and/or hydraulic presses
Very good understanding of cutting processes and conditions
Ability to read and analyze a cut part, identify defects and provide the necessary corrections
Good knowledge of tooling and ability to carry out technical diagnostics
Ability to support operators and transmit technical instructions
Comfortable with common IT tools, notably Excel and Word
Autonomous, rigorous and performance-oriented
Team spirit and excellent communication skills
