HYDRO Exploitation SA is an important service provider, particularly active in the field of operation and maintenance of energy generation plants. We combine all the necessary competencies under one roof, from maintenance personnel to engineering. We operate and maintain a plant park with more than 40 hydropower plants. Their installed capacity corresponds to approximately 22% of the capacity available from hydropower in Switzerland (25% including the pumping stations). Together, the plants operated by us generate about 16% of the electricity from hydropower in Switzerland. Electrical Engineer Workplace: Sion Your mission: You are responsible for the execution of study and renewal projects as well as expertise in the field of electrical machines and their voltage regulation. You ensure the engineering for the maintenance of the generators and motors in the hydropower plants. In addition, as commissioning coordinator, you participate in the commissioning of hydropower plants. Your tasks: * Implementation and management of comprehensive and complex projects in the field of rotating machines, from the preliminary project phase to commissioning * Proposing and realizing technical improvements to optimize the operation of the plants * Ensuring technical support for the maintenance managers of the various hydropower plants * Creating and updating maintenance and investment plans * Creating technical offers and budgets * Organizing and coordinating construction sites and commissioning of rotating machines * Performing diagnostic tests on electrical machines * Engineering and commissioning of excitation systems and voltage regulation * Updating the technical documentation in the plants Your competencies: * ETH or FH engineer for electrical engineering, preferably with experience * Knowledge in the field of rotating electrical machines and/or voltage regulation systems * Knowledge in developing studies and in the procurement of electrical components as well as their commissioning is an advantage * Organizational and decision-making ability to implement several projects simultaneously in a solution-oriented manner * Sense of responsibility, independence, and teamwork * Native language German or French with very good knowledge of the other language We are one of the leading companies on the market in our field of expertise and offer you excellent employment conditions, further training opportunities, and a motivating working atmosphere.
