Electrician/Automation Technician (100%)

Responsibilities & Qualifications ##

Your responsibilities:

• You work alone or in a team on the improvement as well as the preventive and corrective maintenance of our production facilities.
• As part of projects, you are responsible for the installation and commissioning of electrical equipment.
• The field of activity extends from high-voltage distribution to telematics, including industrial automation.
• The documentation of maintenance activities in SAP is part of your tasks.
• You work in a 4-shift service with an on-call service (3 weeks per year).

How to convince us:

• Holder of a CFC as an automation technician or electrical installer.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in the industrial field.
• Experience in industrial automation and supervision systems.
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
• Interest in independent, responsible, efficient, and teamwork-oriented work.
• Great flexibility, motivation, and a customer-oriented mindset.
• French or German language with good knowledge of the second language.

Your responsibilities :

• Sie arbeiten allein oder im Team an der Verbesserung sowie an der vorbeugenden und korrektiven Wartung unserer Produktionsanlagen.
• Im Rahmen von Projekten sind Sie für die Installation und Inbetriebnahme von elektrischen Anlagen verantwortlich.
• Der Tätigkeitsbereich erstreckt sich von der Starkstromverteilung über die industrielle Automatisierung bis hin zur Telematik.
• Die Dokumentation der Wartungsaktivitäten in SAP gehört zu Ihren Aufgaben.
• Sie arbeiten im 4-Schicht-Betrieb mit Pikettdienst (3 Wochen pro Jahr).

Wie Sie uns überzeugen :

• Inhaber/in eines EFZ als Automatiker/in oder Elektroinstallateur/in.
• Mindestens 3 Jahre Berufserfahrung im industriellen Bereich.
• Erfahrung in der industriellen Automatisierung und in Überwachungssystemen.
• SAP-Kenntnisse sind von Vorteil.
• Interesse an selbstständiger, verantwortungsbewusster, effizienter und teamorientierter Arbeit.
• Hohe Flexibilität, Motivation und kundenorientiertes Denken.
• Deutsche oder französische Sprache mit fundierten Kenntnissen in der zweiten Sprache.

Location Profile ##

Novelis- Sierre is located in the Valais Switzerland employing around 550 people. It mainly focuses on production of aluminium sheet for the automotive market covering the entire process from casting to finishing. The plant also hosts a world-leading Research & Innovation Center specialized in the development of new automotive sheet alloys surface treatment and joining technologies. In Feburary 2022 together with research institutions and a local energy provider Novelis founded the Net Zero Lab Valais to develop carbon-neutral solutions for aluminium manufacturing. The lab focuses on identifying and implementing innovative solutions to neutralize the carbon footprint of Novelis- manufacturing operations and neighboring communities starting in Sierre.
