Deputy Director of Finance, Administration and HR

Job Description ##

As Deputy Director of Finance, Administration and Human Resources of l-ECAL- Ecole cantonale d-art de Lausanne, you are the guarantor of its financial strategy: you prepare the School's budget, pilot its implementation, and advise the management on financial issues. As a member of the management team, you actively participate in its strategic management and its influence. You also lead human resources and supervise the administrative and technical services of the School. Finally, you represent the School to partners and participate in commissions or interest groups related to your areas of responsibility, both internally and externally.

Responsibilities ##

• Participate in the management of l-ECAL and be a source of proposals within the management committee
• Develop and pilot the financial and budgetary strategy of the School, in compliance with the regulatory framework
• Develop and adapt management systems with the cantonal and HES-SO applications
• Ensure management control, analytical and financial accounting, as well as the closing and financial reports of the School, in connection with the cantonal control bodies
• Develop the HR strategy, in collaboration with the management, and supervise its implementation
• Accompany employees through their life cycle within the School
• Manage the School's infrastructure and equipment
• Represent the School to various partners

Qualifications ##

• Master's in business economics, Federal Diploma of expert in finance and controlling, or equivalent
• Additional training in Management and HR
• Proven professional experience in finance and management control as well as in team leadership, ideally supplemented by experience in human resources
• Knowledge of applications (ORACLE) and the financial directives of the State of Vaud desired
• Knowledge of the public service and the Swiss academic field desired
• Proven skills in communication and representation, agility and interest in managing diverse topics
• Global vision, analytical and synthesis skills, sense of priorities and ability to take action
• Proficiency in French, fluency in oral and written English
