YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Quality control of gems o Control the compliance of gems according to standards and the quality specifications. o Use gemmological control equipment. o Analyze, sort, and classify stones from production. o Evaluate the necessity of a recut after setting. Management of stone flows and stocks o Ensure the monitoring of stones from reception to storage or shipment. o Control stocks, perform inventories, and ensure traceability. o Prepare stone kits and create pairings according to production needs. o Manage receptions, quality returns, and the associated IT monitoring. o Classify, evaluate, and ensure the traceability of certified stones. o Communicate information relating to materials and production priorities. o Provide technical support to designers for the choice of materials and color harmonization. o Collaborate with external partners (laboratories, suppliers) and participate in technical meetings. Management support and continuous improvement o Assist the head of gemmology in specific projects. o Participate in the continuous improvement processes of the department. YOUR PROFILE • Degree in Gemmology (GIA, HRD or other). • Experience in quality control, sorting, and classifying gems, in a Watchmaking environment. (Min. 3 years of experience) • Mastery of identification and storage techniques • Use of gemmological control and measurement instruments. • Knowledge of IT management and traceability tools. • Rigor and sense of detail. • Organization and priority management. • Team spirit, autonomy, and sense of confidentiality.
