Tasks ##

• Define and deploy the purchasing strategy for product categories.
• Analyze supplier markets and cost trends.
• Negotiate commercial contracts and establish strong relationships.

Skills ##

• Degree in business administration or equivalent and 3 years of experience.
• Excellent proficiency in English, French and German.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in stressful situations.

Your responsibilities ##

• You are able to define and deploy the purchasing strategy for assigned product categories
• You are able to analyze supplier markets, cost trends, industrial capacities and technological developments, as well as develop and maintain a comprehensive mapping of suppliers and supply risks
• You have the ability to identify, evaluate and select new suppliers based on technical, commercial, qualitative and logistical requirements, and to build strong relationships with them
• You are able to anticipate risks related to capacity, supplier dependency, raw materials and geopolitical developments
• You have the ability to negotiate and implement framework agreements and commercial contracts, challenging supplier price increase requests
• You have a good understanding of supplier commitments and ensure their alignment with company objectives
• You are able to monitor key portfolio performance indicators, including costs, savings, quality, on-time delivery (OTD), lead times, capacity and risks
• You are committed to continuously improving purchasing and supply chain processes

Your profile ##

• You have obtained a degree in business administration, economics or equivalent and you possess a solid technical understanding, supplemented by additional training or qualifications in purchasing
• You have more than 3 years of experience in project purchasing or strategic purchasing
• You are perfectly proficient in English, French and/or German
• You are perfectly proficient in MS Office, SharePoint, and you are familiar with Infor
• You define yourself as a strong team player with resilience, flexibility, as well as a high degree of reliability and autonomy
• You are well organized, capable of managing multiple priorities and comfortable working effectively in stressful situations
