Located in the Vevey region, between city and country, the Cité du Genévrier welcomes adults with disabilities due to intellectual impairment. A multidisciplinary and multi-site structure, it offers those welcomed a particularly harmonious living and working environment as well as a set of skills adapted to the needs and aspirations of each individual. Integrated into the Fondation Eben-Hézer, the Cité du Genévrier is the custodian of the moral testament of its founder, Sœur Julie Hofmann. In this capacity, she considers the happiness of the people welcomed as the ultimate goal of her action. Mission The << Le Laurier >> group is a living space welcoming adults presenting an intellectual impairment and requiring individualized support promoting well-being, notably through care and activities around the 5 senses. In this context, educators participate actively in outings, sports and cultural activities, various leisure activities, as well as camps. In order to complete the educational team, we are looking for a social educator (M/F). Desired profile * Hold a diploma as an ES or HES educator * Have experience in the field of polyhandicap, an asset * Be comfortable with care and non-verbal communication * Know how to take initiative * Have team spirit and a sense of ethics * Patient, dynamic and creative You master standard IT tools, possess a driver's license and are willing to work irregular hours including during weekends.
