Junior Project Manager

Field of activity: Naval

What you develop:

• You assist the Project Manager / Department Manager in the technical, administrative, and financial management of the projects entrusted to them within the framework of our activities for the Naval sector
• You participate in the coordination of the different stages of projects: studies, purchasing, realization, subcontracting, testing, packaging, and shipments to customers.
• You ensure the follow-up of actions and deadlines with the various internal and external stakeholders and contribute to meeting quality, cost, and deadline objectives.
• You participate in the preparation and follow-up of project reporting, the updating of schedules, and the monitoring of costs.
• You contribute to the preparation and organization of project meetings, as well as the follow-up of decisions and actions resulting from them.
• You are in regular contact with our design offices, production, purchasing, and quality teams, as well as with our customers and subcontractors.
• You progressively participate in the direct management of certain lots or sub-projects, with an increasing level of autonomy.
• You contribute to the preparation of estimates and offers for our future projects.
• In the long term, you will evolve towards full responsibility for projects, depending on your experience and progression.

What you bring:

• You are a recent graduate, or about to be, from an engineering school or a university training at Master 2 level, ideally in the field of mechanics or in a field associated with machine design: electrical engineering, automation, software, or robotics.
• You wish to start your career in managing complex industrial projects, within a demanding and international technical environment.
• You possess a good technical culture allowing you to understand the issues of design, manufacturing, and integration of machines and industrial equipment.
• Rigorous, organized, and pragmatic, you are able to structure and follow several subjects simultaneously and ensure their reporting.
• You demonstrate autonomy, initiative, and curiosity, while knowing how to request the necessary skills within a multidisciplinary team.
• You enjoy teamwork and have good communication and coordination skills.
• You communicate easily in French and English, both orally and in writing.
• You are proficient in MS Office software. Initial experience with an ERP, ideally ProConcept, is a plus.
• You are able to travel in Switzerland and abroad occasionally to accompany our teams to our customers and subcontractors.
