Ensure the preparation, operation, and restoration of flight equipment: pilot helmet, mask, anti-G suit, survival equipment, and life jacket
Perform periodic overhauls, modification orders, and inspections of flight equipment
Troubleshoot faults, perform repair and maintenance work on flight equipment
Participate in training modules abroad
What makes you unique
CFC as a polymechanic, electronics technician, or similar training, ideally with a few years of experience
Ability to perform repair and maintenance work on electronic and mechanical equipment
Good psychological and physical resilience, irreproachable reputation (position subject to security clearance)
Good oral knowledge of a second official language and English (level B1)

The Operations Command (cdmt Op) is responsible for all operations and all military engagements of the Swiss Army. The cdmt Op includes notably the Air Force, the Land Forces, the four territorial divisions, the SWISSINT Competence Center, the Special Forces Command, as well as the Military Police. Approximately 40 % of the some 2500 employees are employed in the civilian sector, from engineers to analysts to aircraft mechanics. The Swiss Army employs more than 9000 employees in four military professions and approximately 200 civilian professions, across 110 sites throughout Switzerland. It also ensures succession by training apprentices in more than 30 trades.
