An Assistant in Community Nursing and Health Care ##

(New Position) ##

MISSION :

The ASSC provides, upon medical and/or nursing delegation, and exclusively for nursing care situations whose evolution is predictable and non-complex, personalized care by adapting to the needs and life project of the residents.

To do this, they must identify the needs of the residents, their degree of dependency and their disabilities in performing activities of daily living, while respecting the personality and values of the resident, and then establish a data collection according to the conceptual care framework adopted by the MRPS and participate in the definition and implementation of the resident's life project. Furthermore, they will be responsible for periodically reassessing the evolution of the care situation and the care actions undertaken and keeping the doctor and/or the registered nurse informed of any change in the resident's health status.

It is also their responsibility to speak with the resident and/or their relatives to promote the realization of the community life project and to supervise the activities of the nursing assistants upon delegation from the nurse responsible for the care units or the registered nurse.

SEARCHED PROFILE :

• ASSC diploma.
• Experience in geriatrics or psychogeriatrics would be an asset.
• Interpersonal skills, respect, empathy and flexibility.
• Ability to work in interdisciplinarity.
• Mastery of standard office tools.
