Duration ###

Auxiliary contract for a duration of 6 months

Main mission(s) ###

Collaborate on the definition of specific biodiversity measures, linked to localized projects, in particular projects for the implementation of biological connections

Promote good practices in terms of biodiversity to various key actors for private spaces, depending on opportunities

Participate in advising the SPADOM maintenance teams for biodiversity-friendly management in biotopes and green spaces held by the Ville

Participate in the coordination of the management of invasive exotic species in the Ville's plots and among private individuals

Participate in inventories related to the mapping of Lausanne's ecological infrastructure

Profile ###

Bachelor HES in nature management or equivalent training

Practical experience in the maintenance of urban outdoor spaces and/or natural environments (in particular extensive meadows, bodies of water and living hedges)

Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a position with similar responsibilities

Strong interest in nature in the city issues and knowledge of urban natural environments (natural and arboreal heritage, characteristic species)

Knowledge of urban biodiversity issues

Ease in communication, promotion and support of actors regarding biodiversity

Autonomous, organized and precise personality, comfortable with coordination tasks
