The RAD (Retour à domicile) is an educational framework aimed at accompanying children and their families in the context of a return home after placement in a residential home. The educator intervenes directly within the family environment in order to support parenting skills and strengthen family ties. They offer individualized, intensive support adapted to the needs of each situation. They work in close collaboration with families, residential homes, and various network partners and provide regular reports to the placing service. The objective is to promote a secure, progressive, and sustainable return home in the interest of the child.

Contract start: 15 novembre 2026 to 31 décembre 2027

Class: 13 or 15 according to the salary scale of the Etat de Genève

Education:

• Bachelor in social work – Haute école de travail social (HETS), or
• Certified social educator – École supérieure (ES), or
• University Bachelor – Licence FAPSE completed by one year of full-time professional practice in a residential setting or in IGE

Foreign diplomas must imperatively have a SEFRI recognition or an official equivalence.

Experience:

Significant experience in an open environment structure is strongly desired. Flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly to diverse populations are expected.

Professional skills:

• Ability to ensure autonomy and responsibility in the support of young people and their families
• Sense of initiative and aptitude to collaborate with various internal and external partners
• Solid knowledge of the Geneva social network
• Excellent writing skills in French.

Nationality / work permit:

Swiss nationality or valid work permit.
