What you develop:

• Lead and animate the calculation office, support the team and develop its skills.
• Organize the activities of the department, define priorities and establish budgets.
• Analyze client needs and project requirements in order to define appropriate calculation methods.
• Supervise and validate sizing calculations and resistance to static, dynamic and thermal loads.
• Guarantee the quality of studies and deliverables, in compliance with applicable standards and requirements.
• Write and evolve technical documentation relating to calculation activities, throughout the projects.
• Participate in internal and client progress meetings, and present the technical choices made.
• Ensure monitoring of methods, tools and technical evolutions related to the activities of the office.

What you bring:

• EPF engineering degree or equivalent (Bac+5).
• 10 years of professional experience in a similar position.
• You must master all types of mechanical calculations: static, modal, frequency response, shock, vibro-acoustic, thermal and thermoelastic for metallic and fiber-reinforced materials.
• Mastery of Nastran is imperative and mastery of FEMAP would be an asset.
• Knowledge of ECSS standards.
• You express yourself and write with ease in French and English. You are able to defend your technical solutions in these two languages.
• You are an autonomous, organized and rigorous person and are proactive.
• You know how to make decisions, explain them and have them implemented.
