What you bring ##

• You autonomously handle complex legal issues relating to the specialized fields of the Centre de gestion des sinistres Romandie (motor vehicles, property damage, civil liability, and personal injury), with a particular focus on civil liability law and insurance law
• You ensure the follow-up and conduct of judicial proceedings from the commencement of legal action
• You support the specialized departments in appeal cases
• You design and deliver internal training
• You collaborate closely with the Claims teams and the specialized departments in French-speaking Switzerland as well as in German-speaking Switzerland
• The planned place of work is Givisiez, but it can also be located in Bâle

Your profile ##

• You hold a Swiss university degree in law as well as the Swiss bar exam (brevet d'avocat)
• You benefit from several years of practical professional experience, ideally in the insurance field and/or within a law firm
• You have solid knowledge of civil liability law and insurance law
• You distinguish yourself by your negotiation skills, your sense of assertiveness, and a solution-oriented approach
• You demonstrate a great capacity for learning and strong commitment
• You have excellent knowledge of French, both spoken and written (imperative), in order to ensure the follow-up of sites in French-speaking Switzerland, and you also communicate with ease in German (communication language of the concerned team)
• You are ready to undertake some travel, notably for hearings throughout French-speaking Switzerland as well as to participate in team meetings in Bâle
