Job description ##

The Ville de Sierre is recruiting for the following position:

Fire Commander and Head of the Command Staff at 100%

within the Exploitation department

Main missions:

• Organize and command the fire brigade of the centre de secours incendie (CSI).
• Ensure the organization of the Command Staff (EMC).
• Collaborate in the administrative and financial management of the fire sector.
• Manage personnel, organize exercises and standby duties.
• Ensure, with the CSI Command Staff, the monitoring of the training control of the corps' personnel.
• Establish and maintain up-to-date intervention plans in close collaboration with the CSI Command Staff.
• Lead the fire brigade in interventions with the CSI Command Staff.
• In partnership with the AEAI safety officer, collaborate in the development and controls of fire safety.
• Collaborate in the organization of the City's Command Staff and lead operational missions in case of catastrophe.

Profile description ##

Required profile:

• Higher technical or administrative education or training deemed equivalent.
• Specific training in the field of fire and fire prevention, with the officer title.
• Extensive experience in leadership and personnel management.
• Skills in the field of training and instruction.
• Very good knowledge of office tools.
• Flexibility and adaptability (night and weekend work).
• Ability to resist pressure and stress.
• Possession of driving licenses B and C1 (118).
