Specialized Teacher

La Fondation de Verdeil is a private institution of public utility, recognized by the Direction Générale de l'Enseignement Obligatoire du Canton de Vaud (DGEO).

It offers adapted learning situations for children and adolescents with greater needs and has more than 500 employees; it includes six schools, five TEM (transition école-métier) training centers, a mobile educational service, and a UAT (unité d’accueil temporaire).

Location: Ecole des Philosophes in Yverdon

1st position

Activity rate: 100 %

2nd position

Activity rate: 78 % Wednesday morning + 3 full days

Start date: immediately or to be agreed

Location: Ecole de Pierrefleur in Yverdon

Activity rate: 78% Wednesday morning + Tuesday – Thursday and Friday day

Start date: 1st November 2026

Mission

Offer teaching adapted to the developmental potential of each student while respecting their identity. You will be required to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in primary and/or secondary student classes presenting significant academic delays, acquisition and development difficulties, and autism spectrum disorders.

Required profile

• confirmed master's in specialized teaching or in progress or basic title allowing access to the master's (HES educator, psychologist)
• experience working with people presenting ASD and challenging behaviors
• management of pedagogical projects and didactic organization
• sense of organization, planning, and delegation, ease in communication and collaboration
