Fondation de Vernand

The Childhood and Transition sector of the Fondation de Vernand supports the development of nearly 200 students presenting an autism spectrum disorder and/or intellectual development disorder.

To contribute to our inclusive goals and guarantee the well-being, development of potential, and autonomy of the students, we are looking for the following for our special education classes located in Cossonay, Nyon and the Lausanne region:

We offer you:

• The possibility to complete 800 hours of internship as part of the admission to Higher Education institutions in the social sector.
• A meaningful activity in a school environment contributing to the development of children presenting an intellectual deficiency, aiming to make them as autonomous as possible in their daily and future life

We ask of you:

• Completed compulsory schooling
• A keen interest in the field of special education and in working with children presenting an intellectual deficiency
• The ability to propose creative activities and to lead educational and playful workshops

Start date: January 2026

End date: July 2027

Location to be agreed: Nyon, Cossonay or Lausanne region
