Apprentice Ventilation Designer (M/F) at 100 %

As an apprentice Building Technology Designer, specialized in ventilation, you will participate in the design of installations that allow buildings to ensure healthy and pleasant air for their occupants.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Study building plans and understand the needs for air renewal and air quality.
• Draw ventilation installations using specialized computer software (CAD).
• Design duct networks allowing the delivery and evacuation of air in different rooms.
• Calculate the necessary air flows and dimension the ducts according to the needs of the buildings.
• Choose suitable equipment, such as fans, ventilation units, filters, heat exchangers and heat recovery systems.
• Produce technical plans and diagrams intended for installers for the execution of the work.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and other professionals in order to coordinate technical installations in buildings.
• Establish material lists and participate in the estimation of installation costs.
• Take into account the comfort of users, particularly regarding air quality, noise, temperature and air renewal.
• Integrate aspects related to energy efficiency, heat recovery and the reduction of energy consumption.
• Respect standards and safety rules, particularly regarding hygiene, fire protection, soundproofing and the environment.
• Follow projects and participate in controls to verify that the installations correspond to the plans and technical requirements.
• Throughout your training, you will develop your technical skills, your precision, your sense of organization and your team spirit.
