Your contribution

• Ensure the operational readiness of vehicles, in particular by monitoring their state of charge, planning recharges, and preparing them for upcoming uses
• Check the technical status and correct functioning of vehicles, trailers, and/or stored material
• Independently ensure the management of vehicle stocks and logistics in accordance with current regulations
• Actively participate in the delivery and return of systems and general troop material
• Independently manage orders and commissions using the SAP IT management system
• Perform administrative control and monitoring tasks

What distinguishes you

• Federal Certificate of Capacity as a logistics clerk, logistics manager, or an equivalent qualification
• Category B driving license and forklift license; category C driving license is an advantage
• Professional training or experience in the field of mechanics is a preferred qualification
• Strong interest in vehicle technology and the ability to perform basic technical checks as well as identify potential anomalies
• Sense of responsibility and customer orientation, team spirit, flexibility, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently, conscientiously, and effectively
• Good knowledge of at least two official languages, IT, and in particular SAP

The Swiss Army Logistics Base (BLEs) is at the disposal of the troops. It provides all logistic services for the Swiss Army and, with its approximately 3500 employees and 12000 militia soldiers, manages the material, systems, and infrastructure of the Swiss Army. In the workshop or in the office, indoors or outdoors: the BLEs offers a wide range of jobs throughout Switzerland and for all tastes.

The Swiss Army employs over 9000 employees within the framework of four military professions and approximately 200 civil professions, in 110 locations throughout the national territory. Furthermore, it provides for new recruits, training apprentices in over 30 professions.
