What you can achieve.

• You take care of construction, maintenance, and repair work on infrastructure systems and thus make an important contribution to smooth rail traffic.
• A varied and diverse daily working routine awaits you, predominantly day shifts at various SBB stations in the Oberwallis region.
• You ensure the commissioning and decommissioning of various interlocking systems - from electronic interlocking systems to relay interlockings.
• Through your systematic approach, you recognize and report irregularities and defects and initiate their rectification as well as further development.
• You will undergo a two-year internal training as a Sicherungsanlagen Technikerin / Sicherungsanlagen Techniker. Here you will be trained to independently locate and rectify faults in the internal systems.
• With your newly acquired specialist knowledge and your experience, you independently locate and rectify faults in the safety systems during on-call service.

What you bring with you.

• Safety is your top priority. To ensure this, we require unrestricted hearing and vision to be able to recognize important acoustic and visual signals during operations in the track area.
• You are committed to our organization as well as in the team and take on responsibility.
• You consider working indoors, as well as in the track area, to be exciting.
• You have completed a four-year basic training as an Elektroinstallateur:in EFZ.
• Occasional irregular work or on-call service at night and on weekends does not bother you.
• You have a category B driver's license as well as good oral and written German skills (at least B2).
