Electrical Network Construction Sector Manager (100%)

In a context of strong investments in our infrastructures and the transformation of the electrical sector, you take responsibility for a key sector of our activity. At the head of a team of approximately 25 collaborators, supported by 4 foremen, you combine vision, professional expertise and leadership to guarantee the performance of activities today and prepare their development tomorrow.

Your mission :

• Set the direction and unite the teams: lead, support and grow the teams. Set priorities and objectives, ensure their follow-up and develop a culture of responsibility, collaboration and performance in an environment where high standards and benevolence go hand in hand.
• Develop the sector and prepare for the future: anticipate the evolution of activities and necessary skills, support the transformations of the profession and actively contribute to the attractiveness of the sector, recruitment and talent development.
• Drive an activity at the heart of our investments: plan and supervise construction sites related to LV and MV networks, transformer stations, customer connections and public lighting, in a context marked by significant investments and structural projects.
• Guarantee operational excellence: ensure the quality and safety of work execution as well as compliance with deadlines, standards, regulations and processes in force.
• Drive the economic performance of the sector: establish and manage the operating budget and ensure rigorous financial monitoring, while ensuring cost control and commitments.
• Be a recognized interlocutor of our ecosystem: develop trusting relationships with municipalities, clients, civil engineering companies, agents and partners, and ensure effective coordination with other Viteos departments.
• Represent the interests of the department to our partners and clients: supervise and validate offers related in particular to LV reinforcements and new supplies, while ensuring quality of service and the search for relevant solutions.
• Evolve our practices: identify and drive continuous improvement processes, particularly in terms of digitalization, operational efficiency, work organization, customer service and field practices.

Prerequisites

Beyond technical expertise, we are looking for a personality with real managerial stature, capable of mobilizing experienced teams and supporting the development of a strategic sector. To succeed in this function, you possess :

• A Federal Master's degree or training deemed equivalent (a Federal Diploma complemented by significant professional and managerial experience)
• Confirmed managerial experience, ideally of at least 5 years, in leading operational and field teams
• An excellent knowledge of the Swiss electricity distribution sector, its challenges and its actors
• In-depth mastery of distribution networks as well as applicable standards, directives and regulations
• Good knowledge of MV/LV overhead networks, indispensable for the function ;
• A demonstrated ability to drive an activity, manage financial issues and support change
• A natural leadership combining high standards, decision-making capacity, listening and benevolence
• A real sensitivity to the challenges of skill development, job attractiveness and talent retention
• Good mastery of usual IT tools, notably ERP, GIS and office tools.
