Ref 2588458 | Date: 31 Oct 2026 APCO Technologies Head of Calculation Office 100% (M/F) Business area: Space What you develop: * Lead and animate the calculation office, support the team and develop its skills. * Organize the activities of the department, define priorities and establish budgets. * Analyze client needs and project requirements in order to define the appropriate calculation methods. * Supervise and validate sizing calculations and resistance to static, dynamic and thermal loads. * Guarantee the quality of studies and deliverables, in compliance with applicable standards and requirements. * Write and evolve the technical documentation relating to calculation activities, throughout the projects. * Participate in internal and client progress meetings, and present the chosen technical options. * Ensure monitoring of methods, tools and technical evolutions related to the office's activities. What you bring: * EPF engineering degree or equivalent (Master's degree). * 10 years of professional experience in a similar position. * You must master all types of mechanical calculations: static, modal, frequency response, shock, vibro-acoustic, thermal and thermoelastic for metallic and fiber-reinforced materials. * Mastery of Nastran is imperative and mastery of FEMAP would be an asset. * Knowledge of ECSS standards. * You express yourself and write with ease in French and English. You are able to defend your technical solutions in these two languages. * You are an autonomous, organized and rigorous person and are proactive. * You know how to make decisions, explain them and have them implemented.
