Your tasks

• You manage and steer the strategic projects of the Department
• You support and advise the Head of Department on strategic and innovation issues
• You ensure strategic monitoring of legislative and economic developments
• You support and advise the decisions of the permanent delegation at the Sion airport
• You ensure the follow-up of the development of the innovation park of the Campus Energypolis
• You represent the Etat du Valais within the Board of Directors of Energypolis SA
• You chair the engagement committee of the ScaleTec program of the Fondation The Ark
• You are the preferred interlocutor of La Poste within the State
• You collaborate with other cantonal services, federal authorities and external partners

Your profile

• University degree in economics (master's level) or other training deemed equivalent
• Proven experience in managing complex projects
• In-depth knowledge of the Valais economy
• Excellent knowledge of the functioning of cantonal public institutions
• Developed analytical and synthesis skills
• Political and strategic sense
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to act with reactivity and to make decisions
• Ability to propose and to persuade
• Proven ability to work in a network, to collaborate and to assume a leadership role
• Native French or German speaker with very good knowledge (oral and written) of the second official language; knowledge of English would be an asset
