For one of our clients in Yverdon-les-Bains, a Swiss technology company specializing in the development and manufacture of high-precision industrial machines, we are looking for a:

Technical Coordinator / Field Project Manager - Special Purpose Machines (M/F)

At the interface between the field and the design office, you will support projects during the assembly, commissioning, and startup phases of the machines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical activities during the various implementation phases of the machines
• Monitor the progress of assembly, testing, and fine-tuning
• Be the primary contact between the field teams and the design office
• Identify and centralize technical problems encountered
• Organize and prioritize corrective actions with the various specialists
• Follow up on the resolution of open points until their validation
• Actively participate in testing and validations directly on the machines
• Ensure technical reporting to the design office and project managers
• Structure field feedback in order to improve future machines
• Participate in technical meetings and project monitoring
• Ensure compliance with deadlines and operational priorities
• Occasionally support commissioning phases at customer sites

Profile

• Higher technical training, ES Technician or HES Engineer in mechanics, mechatronics, automation or equivalent field
• Experience in the field of special purpose machines, machine tools or industrial equipment
• Excellent technical understanding and ability to grasp a machine in its entirety
• Field experience indispensable
• Initial experience in technical coordination or project management appreciated
• Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, technicians and specialized professionals
• Very good organizational and prioritization skills
• Comfortable with reporting and technical documentation
• Natural leadership, pragmatism and strong solution orientation
• Available for business travel depending on projects
