La Haute école de gestion Fribourg is strengthening its research team dedicated to sustainability issues. We are looking for a doctoral student to lead interdisciplinary projects, support the institution's sustainability strategy, and contribute to teaching in the field of integrating sustainability into organizations.

Mission and field of activity

• Research & Innovation: design and conduct applied research projects on the integration of sustainability in business, impact/social entrepreneurship, and circular economy in collaboration with partner institutes and laboratories. Write and publish articles in scientific journals
• Institutional strategy: implement the sustainability strategy of the Haute école and coordinate actions with institutional partners
• Teaching: co-construct and teach training modules on sustainability and facilitate awareness workshops
• Monitoring & Networking: Ensure regulatory and scientific monitoring, and represent the Haute école in national and international networks

Your profile

• Master's in economic, social, or management sciences specialized in sustainability or training deemed equivalent
• Strong interest in completing a doctoral thesis
• First successful experience in research project management and/or CSR/Sustainability strategy consulting in the public, private, or academic sector
• Mastery of environmental data analysis tools (ESG Evaluation, LCA, carbon footprint, etc.)
• Excellent ability to work in a transdisciplinary mode, synthesis skills, and interest in sustainability values
• Team spirit, organization, autonomy, and flexibility
• Mastery of the French or German language with good knowledge of the other language, as well as very good knowledge of English
