Job description ##

In order to strengthen the technical team of our client specializing in the prefabrication of concrete products, we are looking for a versatile and autonomous Industrial Maintenance Technician to ensure the proper functioning, reliability, and continuous improvement of the production facilities.

Responsibilities

Preventive and curative maintenance:

• Ensure regular monitoring of machines and equipment to prevent breakdowns and guarantee availability
• Perform preventive maintenance interventions according to established plans
• Intervene quickly in the event of a breakdown or production stoppage in order to minimize downtime

Technical troubleshooting:

• Diagnose malfunctions and identify the causes of breakdowns
• Perform repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical installations
• Guarantee the rapid and reliable commissioning of production equipment

Optimization and improvement of equipment:

• Participate in continuous improvement projects for industrial installations
• Ensure the repair, maintenance, and improvement of wooden or steel molds
• Optimize carousel systems and process control to improve production performance
• Propose and implement technical solutions aimed at increasing equipment reliability

Safety and compliance:

• Rigorously apply the safety rules in force on site
• Ensure the compliance of equipment and the interventions carried out
• Work in compliance with safety instructions specific to a heavy industrial environment (noise, handling, moving machinery)
• Actively contribute to risk prevention and the improvement of working conditions

Profile

• Technical training in industrial maintenance, mechanics, electromechanics, or an equivalent field
• Proven experience in the maintenance of industrial equipment
• Mastery of hydraulics and pneumatics
• Good knowledge of automation and industrial electricity, an asset
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and technical diagrams, an asset
• Knowledge or experience in welding techniques, an asset
• Knowledge of concrete technology is a major asset, but not indispensable
• Holder of a SUVA-recognized forklift license, an advantage, such as overhead crane licenses or experience in operating overhead cranes
