To complete our team, we are looking for August 2027: An apprentice Building IT Specialist (formerly Telematician) Your mission Your main mission will be to learn to design, install, and maintain the communication infrastructures of our business customers: LAN networks, WiFi, and IP telephony. Over your four years of apprenticeship, you will move from observation to autonomy, until you lead an installation yourself, from the first exchange with the client to commissioning. In particular, your tasks will be: - Accompany our business customers to understand their needs, then learn to translate them into concrete technical solutions. - Dimension installations: how many WiFi access points, which network equipment, placed where and connected how. - Set up Internet connections for our customers on our HFC and fiber optic infrastructures. - Install and configure LAN networks, WiFi infrastructures, and IP telephony solutions. - Segment a building's network into VLANs and adjust the Quality of Service (QoS), so that each piece of equipment --- phones, cameras, workstations, guest WiFi --- has its place and the bandwidth it needs. - Design and deploy each installation by applying IT security best practices: at our customers, a network is protected as much as it is built. - Deploy WiFi and networks for temporary events: a real challenge, with a short deadline and the obligation that everything works on D-day. - Participate in the management of the servers that run our telephony solutions. - Ensure support and troubleshooting for our customers: diagnose a network or WiFi failure, find its cause, and correct it. - Monitor the proper functioning of installed equipment to react proactively. - Collaborate with the electricians in charge of cabling and with other trades present on the construction sites. - Document the installations you carry out and write the manuals that our customers will use daily. - Train users on their new installation and accompany them in their first steps.
