Trainee Train Dispatcher (female or male) at 100%

Your role begins long before a train is put into circulation: at the heart of the network, you ensure the fluidity of traffic, safety, and the quality of service offered to travelers. Every decision counts, every situation requires discernment, coordination, and composure. We offer you a complete 8-month training program in Renens and Givisiez, during which you will learn everything necessary to perform the function of train dispatcher, according to the requirements of the Federal Office of Transport (OFT). During this period, you are employed at 100% and paid by TPF. At the end of the training, you will join the Givisiez operations center as a train dispatcher, with an activity rate between 80% and 100%.

• You have completed an initial three-year training (CFC), a maturity, or an equivalent diploma recognized in Switzerland
• You are willing to work irregular hours (nights, weekends, public holidays)
• You demonstrate reliability, rigor, and good team spirit
• You keep your calm in pressure situations and make thoughtful decisions
• You communicate clearly, both orally and in writing, in French
• You have basic knowledge of German (level A2)
• You do not have a color vision deficiency
• Your criminal record, dating from less than 3 months, is clean
