Accounts Payable Accountants - assistants (80% to 100%)

The Finance Department of the Ville de Lausanne is responsible for the financial and accounting management of the City. It ensures the steering of budgetary processes (operations and investment), budgetary monitoring, and the account closing procedure in collaboration with the Administration Directorates. In order to support the "Accounts Payable" accounting team, we are recruiting several assistant accountants.

Duration

Assistant contracts for a duration of 6 months

Main mission(s)

Ensure the various daily tasks related to the recording of supplier invoices: compliance checks, scanning, processing of entries in Abacus

Manage payments to suppliers

Participate in the closing of the City's accounts

Ensure the sorting of mail, the processing of reminders, and the updating of the supplier database

Profile

CFC as a commercial employee or training deemed equivalent

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in accounts payable

Previous professional experience within a public administration, desired

Ability to work within sometimes short deadlines and to manage large volumes

Sense of organization, autonomy and discretion

Mastery of MS Office tools and good knowledge of the ERP Abacus, an asset
