Our client is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support the evolution of strategic IT solutions dedicated to academic management. You will intervene from needs analysis to the integration and configuration of solutions, in coordination with business teams, IT, and external partners.

Our client is a leading academic institution based in the canton of Vaud, operating in an international and technological environment.
Its IT organization supports digital transformation and the evolution of business processes in service of its various communities.

Missions

• Analyze business needs and translate them into functional and application requirements.
• Design and write general and detailed functional specifications.
• Challenge business needs and propose solutions adapted to product standards.
• Configure and adapt application solutions according to identified needs.
• Perform detailed analyses and prototypes to validate the solutions envisioned.
• Build and maintain a roadmap centered on results and business priorities.
• Prepare estimates, planning, and various project deliverables.
• Organize and support acceptance phases and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Coordinate internal stakeholders: business users, IT teams, architects, and application managers.
• Manage interactions with service providers and external partners in Switzerland and internationally.
• Identify risks and dependencies and communicate regularly on project progress.
• Support the integration of market solutions into the existing information system.

Candidate Profile

• Higher education in computer science or a professional background deemed equivalent.
• Minimum 7 to 8 years of experience in a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst role.
• Concrete and indispensable experience in the configuration of application solutions.
• Experience in the integration of software packages, SaaS solutions, or market applications.
• Solid mastery of needs analysis and functional specification writing.
• Experience with acceptance processes, functional tests, and UAT.
• Good experience in IT project management, roadmap monitoring, risks, and planning.
• Ability to challenge needs and work with business and technical interlocutors.
• Excellent analytical, synthesis, communication, and simplification skills.
• Autonomy, rigor, proactivity, and the ability to manage several priorities simultaneously.
• An Agile, project management, or HERMES certification is an advantage.
• Fluent French and English, C1 level or equivalent.
