• Direct and organize the management of defense and logistics infrastructures, as well as direct subordinate personnel
• Plan and ensure the availability, management, and maintenance of infrastructures, in coordination with the troops, users, and partners
• Manage operational and maintenance performance, the use of resources, and expenses, ensuring their effectiveness and economy
• Ensure compliance with regulations regarding safety, protection of persons, occupational safety, and environmental protection
• Actively participate in construction, transformation, and decommissioning projects, represent the interests of the manager, and ensure coordination with various interlocutors

What distinguishes you

• Technical or artisanal professional training, ideally completed with higher education (high school or equivalent); federal professional certificate as a maintenance specialist or equivalent training
• Consolidated experience in the management and maintenance of infrastructures, as well as in personnel management
• Leadership, strong sense of organization and responsibility, orientation toward goals and results, good communication and collaboration skills, as well as conflict management skills
• Good skills in process and project management, good command of common IT tools and SAP, as well as good knowledge of a second official language
• Military training as an officer or senior non-commissioned officer constitutes a preferred qualification

The Swiss Army Logistics Base (BLEs) is at the disposal of the troops. It provides all logistic services for the Swiss Army and, with its approximately 3500 employees and 12000 militia soldiers, manages the material, systems, and infrastructures of the Swiss Army. In the workshop or in the office, indoors or outdoors: the BLEs offers a wide range of jobs throughout Switzerland and for all tastes.

The Swiss Army employs over 9000 employees within the framework of four military professions and approximately 200 civil professions, in 110 locations throughout the national territory. Furthermore, it provides for new recruits, training apprentices in over 30 professions.
