Technical and Building Project Manager Engineer – HVAC, Sanitary, Medical Gases & Regulation – 100%

As a project manager engineer, you will strengthen the engineering and building technical sector (SITB). The team, composed of about ten people specialized in the various technical fields of building: Heating-Ventilation-Air Conditioning (HVAC), sanitary, medical gases and electricity, manages approximately 60 projects in parallel. You will thus evolve in an environment that is both demanding and innovative.

In this role, you will lead construction or renovation projects, from their conception to their realization, while highlighting your expertise in HVAC, Sanitary, Medical Gases and Regulation. Regarding HVAC, you will intervene on installations such as air handling units, the production and distribution of heating, superheated water, steam and chilled water. For sanitary, you will work on projects related to the production and distribution of domestic hot water, purified or chilled water.

You will carry out preliminary design studies by analyzing feasibility, identifying needs, estimating costs and defining the schedule. You will write detailed specifications and propose technical solutions that allow for informed decision-making. You will ensure rigorous scoping of projects, thus guaranteeing precise validation of objectives and controlled progress.

You will evaluate technical solutions by selecting the most suitable equipment and developing detailed plans. You will also prepare the necessary tenders for the launch of public calls for tender. You will ensure active supervision by ensuring compliance with the laws, standards and regulations in force at each stage.

You will supervise the execution of projects by coordinating the different stages, monitoring the budget and the schedule, and ensuring optimal collaboration with the project teams. You will participate in steering committees (COPIL), where you will present the progress of the work, propose solutions to potential challenges and contribute to strategic decision-making.

In collaboration with your colleagues, you will intervene on other cross-functional projects to coordinate actions, resolve issues and propose adapted solutions. You will also share your expertise with your peers to support them in the management of their own projects.

From a cross-functional perspective, you will actively participate in continuous improvement by contributing to the evolution of technical standards and directives. You will update documentation, perform technological monitoring in your areas of expertise and propose relevant improvements.

You possess a Master's level degree in technical building engineering with a specialization in HVAC and/or Sanitary. Additional training in project management, such as HERMES or Agile, is an asset.

You have 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position, ideally acquired within a large company or an institution operating in a complex environment. You are perfectly familiar with the construction sector in Switzerland, particularly in Geneva, and you master the applicable standards, laws and regulations.

You have demonstrated your skills in project management methodology, particularly in scoping, stakeholder management and change management. You master the MS Project tool for the management of your projects.

You demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and mobilizing leadership, which allow you to collaborate effectively with your interlocutors. Your analytical and synthesis skills allow you to adopt a systemic and rigorous approach.
