Landscape Horticulturists

Your mission / Within the green sector, you participate in the maintenance, enhancement, and development of the urban green heritage of the Ville de La Chaux-de-Fonds. You intervene in parks and public spaces according to the principles of differentiated management, in favor of biodiversity and adaptation to climate challenges. Your tasks focus mainly on plantings, grassing, the installation of seasonal flower beds, and the routine maintenance of green spaces: pruning, weeding, mowing, and plant care. Depending on needs, you occasionally provide support to other teams of the Service des espaces publics. You also contribute to the winter snow removal on-call service, involving on-call duties and residing near La Chaux-de-Fonds.

Your profile / Personal skills / Holder of a CFC in landscape horticulture, you ideally have several years of experience and good knowledge of plants, landscape maintenance, and public green spaces. Autonomous, organized, and conscientious, you enjoy teamwork, demonstrate practical sense, and know how to support auxiliary, temporary, or trainee staff. You hold a category B driver's license. The BE license as well as M1, M2, or M3 operator licenses are additional assets.
