The Centre Prévention de l’Ale (CPAle) of the Fondation MalleyPrairie has the mission to offer support to adult persons, men or women, who have exercised violence within a couple. It offers consultations individually and in groups in order to find alternatives to violence.

As part of a new project, the CPAle is developing a program intended for minors who have exercised acts of aggression or violence, oriented by the Direction générale de l'enfance et de la jeunesse (DGEJ) or by cantonal judicial authorities.

For the development of this service, the CPAle is looking for:

Main missions:

During the design phase (approximately 5 months):

• Contribute to the development of the concept
• Design and develop the pilot program under the supervision of the Sector Manager
• Develop contacts with the network

From the implementation of the pilot program:

• Guarantee the smooth daily functioning of the unit, by ensuring quality care for beneficiaries and optimal management of human and material resources
• Ensure the management of the unit's services
• Supervise the team of psychosocial workers (one person initially)
• Manage admissions and clinical aspects of the unit
• Intervene directly with beneficiaries (individual and group follow-up)
• Participate in the development of the sector and in cross-functional projects
• Ensure contacts with the network

Profile sought:

• Recognized higher education in social work HES-SO or a title deemed equivalent
• Certification in systemic intervention (CAS minimum or a title deemed equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in social work, with adolescents and their families
• Experience in team management, an asset
• Experience in the field of domestic violence
• Good planning, organization, and priority management skills
• Writing skills and administrative rigor
• Knowledge of the cantonal socio-educational network for the protection of minors
