Assistant or Deputy Director - APEMS de Belvédère

The Domaine parascolaire lausannois has been in constant development for several years. The new concept for Lausanne extracurricular care brings new challenges and objectives within the structures. New services (holidays, supervised homework), new age groups (1-2P), and new missions (inclusion, neighborhood) are among the major development axes for the coming years. The Domaine parascolaire is committed to developing quality services, oriented towards the neighborhood, and proposing supportive and participatory pedagogical projects.

In order to strengthen the supervision of the teams and to support the director in their responsibilities, we are recruiting for a position of assistant or deputy director at 50% for the APEMS de Belvédère.

Located in the Beaulieu/Prélaz sector, in the southwest of the city of Lausanne, this sector brings together 10 extracurricular structures and concerns more than a thousand families.

In close collaboration with the director, the assistant director contributes to the smooth running of the structure, the support of the team, and the implementation of the orientations of the Domaine parascolaire. Through their presence with the professionals, their ability to unite, and their perspective on practices, the person holding the position actively contributes to guaranteeing a quality, secure, and inclusive reception for children.

Missions #####

• Assist the management in the implementation of the mission, the animation of institutional life, and the smooth running of the extracurricular care
• Support the educational teams in the daily care of children and the link with families
• Participate in certain services within the educational team
• Implement and ensure the follow-up and development of the structure's pedagogical concept
• Develop and maintain partnerships with external actors, and collaborate transversally with the entire Service

Profile #####

• HES or ES diploma recognized by the LAJE (Loi sur l'accueil de jour de l'enfance)
• CAS in team management and project management, an asset
• Minimum 4 years of professional educational experience in the field of childhood since obtaining the prerequisite title
• Confirmed professional experience in team management, an asset
• Professional experience in the participatory development of pedagogical projects
• Mastery of professional issues and policies related to childcare
• Proven organizational skills
• Leadership aptitude and team spirit
• Systemic vision and critical thinking
• Excellent mastery of MS Office tools
