Machining Operations Technician (M/F) - Genève

Your mission

For one of our clients, an industrial player based in Genève, we are looking for a Machining Operations Technician (M/F). As a true technical reference for the workshop, you ensure the availability of production means and tooling, while providing daily support to the teams. Working closely with the workshop manager, you monitor tooling needs, support the commissioning of new equipment, and participate in the qualification of new products. You contribute to the analysis of quality deviations and coordinate continuous improvement actions aimed at strengthening workshop performance. This position is intended for a person who enjoys both field work and project management and collaboration with various production stakeholders.

Your profile

ES Technician or HES Engineer degree in mechanics or microtechnics Experience in a production environment, ideally in a machining workshop Good knowledge of production means and tooling Ability to diagnose technical problems and support teams in the field Experience in continuous improvement and in resolving quality deviations Mastery of production management and indicator monitoring IT tools, notably an ERP Ability to coordinate actions, lead working groups, and transmit knowledge Rigor, autonomy, organizational skills, and team spirit Residency in Switzerland mandatory
