The commune of Chêne-Bourg is recruiting for the position of

Social Worker at 80%

The social cohesion service works to strengthen and develop solidarity and proximity within the Commune. Within a small multidisciplinary team, the social service provides social and administrative support, and offers individual accompaniment to residents.

Reporting to the head of the service, you accompany residents in various administrative procedures, you collaborate closely with the Geneva socio-sanitary network and ensure the management of occasional social assistance benefits offered or supported by the Commune,

You also participate in the organization of certain projects or community actions of the service, particularly for children, youth, and seniors.

Profile required:

• Hold a bachelor's degree in social work or an equivalent title.
• Demonstrate at least 3 years of experience as a social worker in Swiss or Geneva territory, particularly within a communal, state, or associative administration.
• Have a very good knowledge of the Swiss social insurance system and the Geneva socio-sanitary network.
• Be able to demonstrate versatility within a small team.
• Be able to work in an organized manner, autonomously and in collaboration.
• Have a sense of public service, interpersonal skills, tact, and discretion.
• Have a strong team spirit and ease of communication.
• Master written and spoken French and be able to write autonomously.
• Master common IT tools.
