Job Summary

In the position of Automation Technician 4*8, you are responsible for ensuring the smooth operational functioning of the automation installations within the Production Centre. You will actively participate in the proposal and implementation of improvements and projects related to this field.

• Ensure the proper functioning and troubleshooting of automation equipment
• Ensure the knowledge, creation, and updating of technical documentation in the field of automation
• Propose and participate in continuous improvement projects using appropriate problem-solving tools (GSTD, DMAIC, SMED)
• Provide technical support to the different departments of the factory

Your assets for success

• Diploma in Automation
• Proven experience in an industrial field, ideally in the agri-food sector
• Good knowledge of troubleshooting and programming Allen Bradley controllers and Wonderware supervision systems (Archestra, Intouch), Siemens (an asset)
• Ability to read and understand electrical and electronic diagrams
• Knowledge of electro-automation hardware, starter, frequency inverter, drive, servomotor
• Basic knowledge of server architectures and networks
• OIBT is an asset
• Comfort in using digital tools (Powerbi, Copilot)
• Knowledge of instrumentation and vision systems
