Painting Foreman (M/F)

Romande Peinture SA is looking for an experienced, autonomous, and organized painting foreman (M/F), possessing strong technical and organizational skills to ensure the preparation, management, and monitoring of painting work on various construction sites in the Travers region and its surroundings.

Profile sought:

• Proven experience in the field of building painting.
• Excellent mastery of interior and exterior painting techniques.
• Very good knowledge of substrate preparation, smoothing, and finishing work.
• Excellent ability to read and interpret plans and technical files.
• Experience in analyzing calls for tenders, preparing submissions, and establishing offers.
• Good mastery of measurements, quantity calculation, cost estimation, and material and labor requirements.
• Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work on construction sites.
• Aptitude to manage teams and supervise the quality of the work performed.
• Good knowledge of interior and exterior plastering work.
• Ability to ensure the technical, administrative, and financial monitoring of construction sites.
• Rigorous, autonomous, versatile person with an excellent sense of responsibility.
• Good communication and coordination skills with clients, architects, works management, and other trades.
• Respect for deadlines, budgets, quality standards, and safety rules.
• A CFC in building painting, ideally supplemented by training as a painting foreman or an equivalent qualification, is an asset.

Main tasks:

• Reading and analyzing plans, specifications, and technical files.
• Analysis of calls for tenders and preparation of submission files.
• Establishment of offers, estimates, and submissions.
• Performing measurements and calculating quantities, costs, and labor and material needs.
• Planning, organization, and coordination of painting work.
• Management and monitoring of construction sites, from preparation to the acceptance of works.
• Supervision of personnel and distribution of tasks among collaborators.
• Quality control of the work and respect for deadlines and budgets.
• Coordination with clients, architects, works management, and other stakeholders.
• Management of material orders and monitoring of site needs.
• Participation in site meetings and establishment of monitoring reports.
• Supervision of interior and exterior painting work.
• Supervision of substrate preparation, smoothing of walls and ceilings, and finishing work.
• Coordination of interior and exterior plastering work.
• Monitoring of work within the framework of renovations, transformations, and new constructions.
• Identification of technical problems and implementation of suitable solutions.
