Librarian and group leader

Field of activity

Participate in the missions and tasks of the Collections universitaires sector, specialized in languages, literatures and musicology

Lead a small team responsible for ordering and formal cataloging, and coordinate these tasks within the sector and with the other sectors of the BCU

Participate in the organization of work schedules and internal communication of the sector

Acquire, catalog and enhance different materials in open access

Participate in information literacy training intended for students

Participate in the information desk specialized in languages and literatures/musicology

Participate, as needed, in working groups and services of the Collections universitaires sector and the BCU

Requirements

You hold a Bachelor in Information science or a degree deemed equivalent

You have a good knowledge of RDA DACH and IdRef standards and proven experience in formal cataloging

You are characterized by your openness to change, and are ready to collaborate or participate in any other task useful to the proper functioning of the sector or the institution

You master the French language and have knowledge of the German language and English. Mastery of other languages, for example Slavic languages, is an asset
