Your contribution

• Be responsible for the direction, guidance, and development of employees as well as their initial and continuous training
• Plan and coordinate the deployment of resources based on tasks, priorities, and operational needs
• Execute projects and tasks concerning the sector in line with the strategy of the UDSC
• Ensure collaboration with the general management of Genève Aéroport and with the various organizations and partners present on the airport platform
• Ensure the quality of performance, risk management, and the internal control system
• Be responsible for the coordination and efficient use of the assigned means
• Ensure clear and effective internal communication and guarantee the administrative measures of your area of responsibility
• Coordinate operational interventions in collaboration with the regional head of operations
• Participate in regional meetings and actively contribute to the decisions and implementation of the related projects

What distinguishes you

• Hold a university diploma or equivalent training
• Hold recognized training in the field of executive and managerial roles, ideally completed by specialist training in the field of police operations management (e.g., CAS CEP)
• Have proven experience in a similar hierarchical function
• Possess managerial skills at both strategic and operational levels as well as solid leadership and human relations skills
• Be able to communicate with ease and establish relationships of trust quickly, as well as be able to manage situations that require cooperation, diplomacy, and the search for solutions
• Possess a strategic vision and the ability to understand the interactions between various sectors as well as to quickly analyze complex situations
• Have strong analytical skills as well as a real propensity to accompany and promote change
• Demonstrate resilience, assertiveness, sense of responsibility, and a strong orientation towards results
• Have excellent active knowledge of at least one official language and good knowledge of English

The Federal Office for Customs and Border Security (UDSC) guarantees global security at the border for the benefit of the population, the economy, and the State and is well-interconnected at national and international levels. Among its main tasks are the correct and rapid imposition of tradable goods, the rapid management of tourist traffic, as well as the areas of migration and security police.
