On behalf of one of our clients based in the canton of Vaud, we are looking for a Sales Director (M/F):

Your future responsibilities:

• You will define and deploy the commercial strategy in order to develop turnover, margins and market shares.
• You will develop and retain the client portfolio and maintain lasting relationships with clients, design offices and partners.
• You will identify new business opportunities and ensure active market monitoring.
• You will prepare estimates and offers for electrical switchboards and automation projects and manage tenders until their submission.
• You will negotiate offers with clients and suppliers and ensure the monitoring of costs and margins.
• You will structure commercial monitoring using CRM, reporting and key performance indicators.
• You will recruit, supervise and support the sales team in achieving its objectives.
• You will collaborate closely with the technical and production teams to ensure alignment between client needs and the company's capabilities.
• You will ensure the financial monitoring of the activity, notably turnover, budgets and key indicators.
• You will contribute to the global management of the company and ensure the proper functioning of its internal organization.

Your profile:

• You hold a higher technical qualification in electrotechnics, automation, electrical engineering or in an equivalent field.
• You have 5 to 7 years of proven experience in B2B business development with a strong technical-commercial dimension.
• Ideally, you are familiar with the field of electrical switchboards, automation or industry.
• You master estimating, cost estimation as well as public and private tender procedures.
• You possess good skills in managing margins, budgets and financial indicators.
• You have experience in management and coordination of teams.
• You are a unifying leader and are comfortable in an SME environment.
• You are analytical, pragmatic and oriented towards results and solutions.
• You demonstrate autonomy, initiative, rigor and a strong sense of responsibility.
• You possess excellent interpersonal skills and know how to manage several files simultaneously.
